KHAIRY Jamaluddin said on Twitter he would sack Lokman Noor Adam from Umno if he became party president.
Khairy also said Lokman has an IQ of a carrot.
The exchange between the duo started when Khairy posted a video on his account on July 31 of his debate on the goods and services tax (GST) with Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng at the previous Dewan Rakyat sitting.
“My exchange with @guanenglim yesterday on keeping the GST at a lower rate vs SST. @MOFmalaysia admits GST is better but essentially says it must go because it’s an election promise. Political populism wins over sound economic policy,” he tweeted.
Lokman however left a comment on the post 18 hours ago saying that Khairy should not become the party president with his “finger pointing” attitude.
“With this kind of finger pointing attitude, don’t ever dream that you can ever become the president of Umno,” said Lokman.
Khairy responded to this by saying he would sack Lokman if he does become the president.
“You better pray I don’t become president of Umno. First thing I’ll do is sack you for having the IQ of a carrot,” added Khairy.

Khairy’s reply received 366 shares and 267 likes.
Khairy’s reply inadvertently inspired a Twitter used to give Lokman the moniker “Lobakman” (lobak is carrot in Malay).
“And thus Lobakman Adam was born..,” said a user @play3r_two.
Other used posted animated GIFs showing their support or were shocked over Khairy’s remark.
A strong defender of former prime minister Najib Razak, Lokman’s attack against Khairy was due to the former Umno Youth chief’s rebuttal of Najib’s remarks that Barisan Nasional lost GE14 because of “fraud, defamation and false promises made by Pakatan Harapan”.
Disputing Najib, Khairy had tweeted: “We lost because of 1MDB. The end.”
He contested for the Umno president’s post in the recent party polls but lost to Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. – November 4, 2018.
