PKR has gathered information and will investigate claims of money politics in the party’s ongoing elections, said president-elect Anwar Ibrahim today.

The election steering committee (JPP) and the disciplinary board have the necessary information and will investigate the claims made by deputy president contender Rafizi Ramli, he said.

“We have taken all the information. It will be investigated,” the Port Dickson MP briefly told reporters at Parliament today.

Yesterday, outgoing party president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said she would investigate the allegations and that she was not aware of any complaint on the matter yet.

Rafizi said several candidates paid RM100 for a delegate’s vote in the elections that have so far been conducted in six states.

He is up against the incumbent and Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali. – October 17, 2018.
