THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has finished questioning Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on graft allegations.
Zahid who emerged after more than 10 hours of questioning today, said it is his last day of interrogation over seven cases being investigated by the graft-buster.
“In the last three days I gave my full cooperation. I have nothing to hide. I hope the information I gave will help clarify certain things,” he said.
The former deputy prime minister is being investigated for graft allegations linked to a charitable foundation that he chairs.
This is the third time this week that the Umno president had been summoned to the MACC over the Yayasan Akal Budi case, a family-run foundation.

It was reported that RM800,000 had been allegedly misappropriated from the foundation to pay off Zahid and his wife’s credit card bills.
