TEMERLOH, a municipality in Pahang has become an “island” after almost all main roads heading to the district are completely submerged by floodwaters.
A 5km stretch of the Temerloh-Mentakab road heading to Temerloh was still inundated by waist-high floodwaters on Tuesday, cutting off access to several villages and residential estates along the road.
Among the villages are Kg Paya Kecil, Kg Carak Paya Dalam, Kg Temerloh Batu Satu, Taman Temerloh Jaya, and residential estates around the town. – January 9, 2021.
