IT might not be a year you want to remember but 2020 is one you will never forget.
Blame the coronavirus pandemic, which has taken so many lives, devastating economies globally and changing the way we live.
The political upheaval has brought back elements of the old regime into a shaky new government, which is confronted with public discontent over a weakening economy hobbled further by the pandemic.
It has been 10 months since the formation of the new government. Sadly, there seems to be no solution the Malaysian politics. The continuous bickering has only further frustrated the people and as such, Malaysian leaders need to resolve their fickleness.
The people are also tired, fed up and sick of the various conflicts particularly coming from Malay politicians.
It has been a messy, tragic year and it’s not over yet. But we’ve also seen snippets of hope and resiliency especially through our front-line workers and those who went out of their way to help others in a time of need. – December 15, 2020.
