Illegals rounded up amid lockdown in PJ Old Town

IMMIGRATION and police personnel launched an early-morning operation today to weed out undocumented immigrants in PJ Old Town, which is under an enhanced movement control order consequent of a Covid-19 outbreak.
The raid is the latest in a series conducted to identify and detain illegal visitors in places that are in lockdown, such as the Masjid India area in downtown Kuala Lumpur and the Selayang wholesale market, in response to the coronavirus pandemic. – May 20, 2020.
