Afif Abd Halim

Medical staff at Kuala Lumpur Hospital are sewing personal protective equipment (PPE) gowns for their colleagues in the frontlines against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The hospital’s doctors and nurses have converted their library into a makeshift sewing room.

They are helped by volunteers from other departments who are not treating Covid-19 patients.

So far, they have been able to sew up to 400 pairs of PPE gowns a day. – April 7, 2020.
