Fleeing Covid-19

AN evacuation flight from Wuhan arrived about 6.50am today at KLIA with 46 Malaysians plus 20 non-citizen spouses and children, on board.
AirAsia flight AK8265 departed Wuhan at 1.45am with the 66 passengers living in Wuhan – the epicentre of the Covid-19 outbreak – with 12 crew members, nine officials from Malaysia and two from the Malaysian embassy in Beijing.
The humanitarian flight was scheduled to repatriate 75 Malaysians, said the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma).
All passengers were screened in Wuhan before being allowed to board with nine unable to join the flight because of health and logistic issues. – February 26, 2020.
