German wins stage 3 of Le Tour de Langkawi

MAX Walscheid of the NTT Pro Cycling Team won stage 3 of the Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi 2020 at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre on Sunday.
The German, 26, earlier won the Kota Kinabalu Criterium International on Thursday, and was pipped by Australian Taj Jones in stage 2 in Kerteh on Saturday.
Walscheid said he enjoyed the “incredible atmosphere and fantastic scenery”.
Stage 5 todaywill cover a 165.8km route from Kuala Kubu Baru to Ipoh, which sees a comfortable downhill stroll in the earlier part of the race, which is then marked by three intermediate sprints and with no categorised climbs. – February 11, 2020.
