Sarong ‘train’ makes way through KL

IN conjunction with Malaysia Day, thousands of Malaysians yesterday wore sarong and other traditional attire in support of the Keretapi Sarong 2019 programme at five mass rapid transit stations in Kuala Lumpur.
They marched through the busy streets, converging on the Masjid Jamek station before moving on to Dataran Merdeka, singing patriotic songs along the way.
Their colourful presence grabbed the attention of city folk and tourists. – September 17, 2019.
