VILLAGERS from Kg Tasik Cunex in Gerik, Perak, just want their land and to be left alone, says village head Roslan Itam.
They are up against loggers and Perak government over what they believe is their ancestral land.
Villagers have been in a stand-off with loggers since February, erecting a blockade every evening to stop the latter from entering the jungle.
The land that villagers hope to protect is about 5,058ha.

The MB of Perak ought to resign and investigated if there are elements of corruption.
