IN Kg Johan Setia, Klang, lives 144 Rohingya families, who fled Myanmar. Yesterday, they received four cows to sacrifice, donated by others to mark Aidiladha, the holiest of the two Muslims holidays celebrated each year.
Aidiladha t marks the yearly pilgrimage (haj) to Mecca, the holiest place in Islam.
Muslims slaughter a sacrificial animal and split the meat into three parts, one for the family, one for friends and relatives, and one for the poor and needy. – September 2, 2017.
