MALAYSIA struck a lucky 13 midway into the 29th SEA Games to boost the gold haul to 63 and further widen the lead on the rivals.
In the mission for 111 gold medals to top the overall competition, Malaysia were today assisted by 16-year-old hammer thrower Grace Wong, pint–sized boxer Muhammad Fuad Redzuan, and the karate squad in top form, which took two more gold in the men’s kata and women’s team kumite for a total seven gold medals in three days. – August 24, 2017.
