Cops raid Najib’s mum’s house

POLICE raided the home of Najib Razak’s mother but returned empty-handed, according to reports.

The raid was confirmed by Najib’s lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah.

“Yes, very mean of them to scare the poor lady and they found nothing in her house,” he was quoted as saying.

Rahah Mohammad Noah, 86, lives in Jalan Eaton in Kuala Lumpur. The raid was reported to have been carried out by a 14-man team.

It took place at about the same time Najib was in the sessions court today facing fresh corruption and money-laundering charges.

A news portal said the raiding party “even broke through the ceiling of the house to find possible cash hidden inside, but returned empty-handed”. – September 20, 2018.
