MOHAMMED Shazalli Ramly has resigned as managing director and group chief executive officer of Telekom Malaysia Bhd, Bloomberg reports today.

Shazalli was handpicked by former prime minister Najib Razak to head TM last May, taking over from Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa.

Najib had pressured Khazanah, which owns about 26% of TM, to make the appointment. – June 6, 2018.
