LORONG Petaling Pasar Karat, or flea market, traders should move to a more suitable site as the current backlane they are operating in is not conducive, Bukit Bintang MP Fong Kui Lun said.

He said the area has become an eyesore and the traders should have a proper space to carry out their business.

Traders at the flea market are pleading with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to allow them to continue to operate at their current location.

They had several meetings with DBKL to raise their grouses on the temporary relocation plans to the Lee Lam Thye wet market in the city. – April 18, 2024.
