1MDB’s US$2.2 billion murabaha notes were converted to US$2.3 billion in promissory notes but details were never sent to the company board, the prosecution’s 13th witness told the court today.

Ismee Ismail, who is 1MDB’s former director also agreed with defense lawyers that the conversions were done without Najib Razak’s approval. – April 4, 2022.
