ROSMAH Mansor was allegedly Low Taek Jho’s entry point to the corridors of power in Putrajaya during the administration of Najib Razak, said Tom Wright, the co-author of the book Billion Dollar Whale.
In an interview with BFM radio today, Wright said the former prime minister’s wife was allegedly the channel for the Penang billionaire businessman to get to Najib.
And this connection was made through Riza Aziz, who is Rosmah’s son from an earlier marriage, said Wright.

Wright also said Rosmah had allegedly benefited from helping Low as she may have received gifts through these ties.
“Suddenly she received hundreds of millions of dollars in jewellery and other assets though this connection,” he said when asked what role did Rosmah play in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.
Wright, who is a journalist from Wall Street Journal, co-authored the book with his colleague, Bradley Hope. The book gives a detailed insight in Low’s alleged role in the sovereign wealth fund corruptions.
It was reported today that the MACC’s investigation on Rosmah has been completed and the report was submitted to the attorney-general.
Earlier, reports said Rosmah may face more than 20 criminal charges, mostly involving money laundering.
In June, Rosmah was summoned to the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya or questioning and the anti-graft body did not rule out the possibility of she getting charged soon. – September 25, 2018.
