Jho Low not in Macau, says IGP

FUGITIVE billionaire financier Low Taek Jho, who is wanted in Malaysia for the 1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal, left Macau for an unknown destination, the inspector-general of police said today.

Mohamad Fuzi Harun said he received an email from Macau police that Low, better known as Jho Low, had left the autonomous territory.

Fuzi said Macau police did not say when Low left the country.

“They did not mention the date he left and our (director-general of) Immigration Mustafar Ali yesterday said they believe he has multiple passports or passes,” he told reporters today at the Bukit Aman police headquarters.

Fuzi said with the latest development, tracking down Low would be tougher.

Yesterday, the IGP said police have informed seven countries through the Interpol red notice on Low being sought over the 1MDB scandal.

Last week, a police team went to Hong Kong, but Low had fled to Macau. – July 11, 2018.

  • IGP, your score card has been low in the eyes of the rakyat. With this kind of sit-rep, the score has gone below zero. I wonder why your head is not rolled yet. Rakyat wants to see the headline "JLow captured by PDRM at great lengths!" Already a reward has been put out for JLow's head, what's more than to hire a bounty hunter?! Geez grow a brain! And yes why the hell is the rakyat paying your salary?! HM DO SOMETHING THAT YIELDS RESULTS ASAP!!
