Najib’s children post RM500,000 bail

FAMILY members of Najib Razak arrived at the Kuala Lumpur High Court to post RM500,000, the second instalment of the former prime minister’s bail. 

Najib’s children, Nooryana Najwa and Noorashman, arrived at 10am, heading to the criminal counter behind the court. 

Also present was Nooryana’s husband Daniyar Kessikbayev. Najib has yet to arrive at court. 

The bail must be posted at the Putrajaya court by 3pm tomorrow.

On July 4, Najib, 64, was charged with three counts of criminal breach of trust and one count of abuse of power involving SRC International Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of his brainchild, 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

The high court set bail at RM1 million and allowed him to pay the first RM500,000 on the same day he was charged and the rest by tomorrow. The sureties were Nooryana Najwa, 30, and Norashman, 27.

The court also ordered Najib to surrender his passports, including a diplomatic one.

The high court fixed August 8 for mention. – July 9, 2018.

  • They have the rm500k to completely post the bail. Why are the goons of UMNO donating money to Najib? He accepted the money. It means now he has about rm500k in hand. All those who angkat pelir people are really stupid
