A LORRY belonging to a logistics firm has left former prime minister Najib Razak’s home half an hour after arriving.

A police officer at a temporary post set up 200m from the residence said the lorry, bearing the name “Gogul Logistics Sdn Bhd”, was there to “drop off items”, but did not specify what the items were.

The driver of the lorry, which arrived at 10.30am, took 10 minutes to register with police. Before it left Jalan Langgak Duta, an officer carried out a quick inspection of the inside of the vehicle.

Police’s raid on Najib’s home started on May 16. Since then, several Umno leaders have visited their former party president.

Among them were party veteran Mohd Ali Rustam, former education minister Mahdzir Khalid, Pahang Umno Youth chief Mohd Shahar Abdullah, Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, and former international trade and industry minister Mustapa Mohamed.

Najib is being investigated under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act. – May 29, 2018.
