FORMER prime minister Najib Razak has returned home after Friday prayers at 3.40pm.
He had earlier left the mosque at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) at 2.36pm.
A few minutes before he arrived, an MPV bearing the MCA legal advisory and women’s aid centre’s logo entered his house.
Yesterday, Najib had spent seven hours at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya answering questions related to the SRC international case and RM2.6 billion found in his two bank accounts.
Following Pakatan Harapan’s victory in the 14th general election, Najib is now the subject of MACC and police investigations.
He is accused of corruption and other wrongdoings related to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), of which SRC International was a subsidiary.
Police last week raided six premises linked to him, seizing 284 boxes of designer handbags, and 72 luggage bags filled with cash and jewelry.
They also seized documents said to be related to 1MDB. – May 25, 2018.
