FORMER Sabah chief minister Musa Aman is now a wanted man.
Police are looking for him after a police report lodged by the Head of State, Juhar Mahiruddin, who said he was threatened on the night he swore in Parti Warisan Sabah president Mohd Shafie Apdal as Sabah chief minister.
Shafie was sworn in after the Warisan-Pakatan Harapan pact obtained 35 out of 60 state seats, thus enabling the pact to form the state government with a simple majority. However, Musa was sworn in 48 hours earlier as the chief minister, after he informed Juhar that Barisan Nasional had the numbers to form the next state government.
Sabah police commissioner Ramli Din said today that they believed Musa was no longer in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
“The case is being investigated for criminal intimidation.
“So far we have recorded the statements of nine witnesses in connection to the case,” said Ramli, adding that he was confident police would find him. – May 24, 2018.
