NAJIB Razak was early for his appointment at Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya. Officers for a second round of questions from investigators on the case of SRC International, formerly a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
Najib was greeted by his lawyer, former solicitor-general II Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden, who had arrived earlier.
Also spotted heading for the MACC office was former Petrosaudi International executive and whistleblower Andre Xavier Justo.
Najib is alleged to have received RM42 million of 1MDB funds that were channeled through SRC International to his personal accounts between December 2014 and February 2015.
The former prime minister was questioned on Tuesday and was told to return at 10am today to answer more questions. – May 24, 2018.
