ANWAR Ibrahim has had an audience with the Johor sultan to iron out issues regarding the new administration.

The PKR de facto leader said he explained to Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar how the Pakatan Harapan administration is going about its task. 

“His majesty was focused on how PH would be as a newly formed government. I explained that PH will rule following the federal constitution in matters that concerns the nation,” Anwar said in a statement today following his visit which was publicised on the sultan’s Facebook page. 

He also told the sultan, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad was acting swiftly to solve the nation’s problems by introducing certain policies. 

On behalf of PH, Anwar also welcomed the concern showed by the Johor sultan on matters that benefited the people and Johor folk.

Anwar met with the sultan and Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim yesterday in Johor. He was accompanied by his daughter, Nurul Izzah Anwar, who is also the Permatang Pauh MP. – May 22, 2018.
