A DOCTOR was seen entering former prime minister Najib Razak’s residence on Jalan Langgak Duta last night.

The unknown individual, who said he was a physician, arrived at the house at 9.20pm.

It is unknown who he was attending to in the house. The doctor exited Najib’s home half an hour later.

A van ferrying a group of pupils from the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah religious school was also seen exiting the residence past midnight.

Najib is supposed to give his statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission at Putrajaya tomorrow.

The embattled former prime minister has also replaced his team of lawyers ahead of questioning.

He had replaced Harpal Singh Grewal and M. Athimulan with former solicitor-general II Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden and his team of six lawyers.

The police have raided several of Najib’s residences, including his official residence Sri Perdana when he was the prime minister and several condominium units linked to him at the Pavilion Residences.

Among the items seized include 284 handbags and 72 cases filled with jewellery, cash and other valuables.

Najib has denied all allegations of corruption, saying the seized items were gifts for his daughter’s wedding and donations for Barisan Nasional. – May 22, 2018.
