THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will record Najib Razak’s statement at his home in Jalan Langgak Duta, at 8am on Tuesday.
The former prime minister’s lawyer, Harpal Singh Grewal, said the anti-graft agency had agreed to take Najib’s statement at the house instead of MACC headquarters in Putrajaya, as reported earlier.
“We will nevertheless provide more information if there are any developments on Monday,” he told the media outside Najib’s home in Taman Duta, today.
On whether the Najib’s wife Rosmah Mansor was under investigation, Harpal said he had not received any information on the matter.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad was reported saying he expected charges to be filed against Najib following a probe into power abuse and money laundering linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd. – May 19, 2018.
