PRIME Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s leadership will not be challenged, Anwar Ibrahim said tonight.

Anwar, who was released today, said he fully supported Dr Mahathir to be the  prime minister.

“We have made our choice and we will give our full support to Dr Mahathir’s leadership.

The crowd which was cheering from the start of his speech grew louder when Anwar said he would not be challenging Dr Mahathir for the top leadership spot.

Anwar said he truly believed the 93-year-old could bring change for Malaysians despite their past differences.

“I would not support Dr Mahathir if I weren’t confident he could bring a change to the country.

“I support him because of his team, Azizah, Guan Eng and Muhyiddin. This is a winning team,” he said referring to PH leaders Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Lim Guan Eng and Muhyiddin Yassin. – May 16, 2018.
