PARTI Warisan Sabah has submitted the names of six of its members of Parliament for consideration for ministerial positions, said Chief Minister Shafie Apdal.

Penampang MP Darrel Leiking, who is Warisan deputy president, Silam MP Mohammadin Ketapi, who is Warisan supervising chairman, and Batu Sapi MP V.K. Liew are among the six names.

Shafie said it was up to the prime minister to make the final decision.

“(We have) many leaders with expertise and qualifications who can help govern our country.

“Dr Mahathir is someone who is smart, and he would consider good representation from Sabah because we have supported him all this while,” said Shafie at a press conference in Kota Kinabalu today.

Kalabakan MP Ma’mun Sulaiman and Papar MP Ahmad Hassan, who is an accountant, are the two other names. – May 16, 2018.
