DE facto Pakatan Harapan leader Anwar Ibrahim was greeted by ecstatic supporters this evening at Padang Timur, Kuala Lumpur. 

The crowd surrounded his vehicle as it made its way onto the field in Petaling Jaya. Upon stopping, security personnel had to fend off the crowd which would have mobbed him.

Chants of “Reformasi” were heard from the about 5,000 people who were all in light blue, the colour of PKR.  They waved flags that were replicas of the giant PKR flag at the centre of the field.

Anwar was accompanied by his wife, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution and Indera Makhota lawmaker Saifuddin Abdullah.
