THE appointment of a new anti-graft head will take some time, as it needs to be approved by the Agong, said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today.
“This position and several other positions need the approval of the king, and it will be delayed,” he told reporters today during a press conference.
Dr Mahathir had on Monday said a new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission head would be appointed yesterday, following Dzulkifli Ahmad’s resignation. – May 16, 2018.
