SABAH Chief Minister Shafie Apdal today lifted the state’s entry ban on PKR leaders Nurul Izzah Anwar and Chua Tian Chang, one of his first major moves on his first official day of work today.

The state immigration ban on Nurul Izzah and Chua, better known as Tian Chua, has been in place since November 2015 after a special motion was approved in the Sabah legislative assembly led by Barisan Nasional chief minister Musa Aman.

The motion was raised on grounds that both leaders supported the Sulu invasion of Sabah in 2013, also known as the Lahad Datu incursion, as both met with Sulu princess Jacel. H. Kiram. – May 14, 2018.
