JEFFREY Kitingan, a minister in Sabah’s Musa Aman cabinet, has reported for duty.
He is the appointed state deputy chief minister and agriculture and food industries minister for the Barisan Nasional cabinet.
A ministry official confirmed Jeffrey arrived at 10am at Wisma Pertanian as security was being tightened at the ministry’s office.
“The ministry is now swarming with police to stop members of the public from entering the building,” the official said.
Sabah BN chairman Musa Aman was sworn in on May 11, and immediately named his cabinet.
Musa convened the first cabinet meeting soon after.
His rival, Parti Warisan Sabah leader Shafie Apdal, who was also sworn in on May 12, has yet to name his cabinet. – May 14, 2018.
