NAJIB Razak and wife Rosmah Mansor have been blacklisted from leaving the country, the Immigration Department said today.

“The Immigration Department of Malaysia confirms that Dato Sri Najib Tun Abdul Razak and Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor have just been blacklisted from leaving the country,” the department said on its Twitter and Facebook pages.

The Malay Mail also reported a police source saying that the former prime minister and wife will not be flying to Indonesia today, as scheduled based on a passenger and crew manifest of a private jet that was leaked last night.

The flight was to have departed from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport at 10 am today for Jakarta but has been “cancelled pending further instructions,” the police source said.

There was earlier confusion over whether Najib and Rosmah had been blacklisted from leaving the country until the department’s clarification on its social media platforms. – May 12, 2018.
