Rosmah trying to smuggle RM10 million worth of handbags, says Bersatu Youth

AT least RM 10 million worth of handbags are being smuggled by Rosmah Mansor, said exco members of Bersatu’s Youth wing, who lodged a police report over the matter.

In a statement today, the exco members attached their police report alleging that the former prime minister’s wife was smuggling 50 Birkin bags, each estimated to cost around RM200,000, to a condominium in Kuala Lumpur.

“We have received information and video footage showing around 50 Birkin bags being moved in a van marked ‘Prime Minister’s Department’ to several condominium units at Pavillion Residence KL.

“Every box of handbags labelled (gifts) is believed to be for the former prime minister Najib’s wife, Rosmah Mansor,” they said in a statement.

The statement was signed by Bersatu Youth exco members Ben Ali and Azizi Sulaiman, as well as treasurer Rafiq Hakim Razali.

They urged the police and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate as Najib had been linked to the misappropriation of funds.

“If the van is owned by the Prime Minister’s Department, then this is also a misuse of power, where Rosmah is using government resources for personal use.

“(We) urge that a raid be undertaken on the condominium units at Pavillion Residence.” – May 12, 2018.
