UMNO Supreme Council members vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein, information chief Annuar Musa and Tajudin Abdul Rahman have arrived at Umno’s headquarters. 

In conjunction with the party’s 72nd anniversary, the party will hold prayers and a dinner at the Putra World Trade Centre tonight. 

The former ministers, who arrived without the security escorts, declined to speak to reporters. 

Party president Najib Razak has yet to arrive.

Umno suffered its biggest defeat on Wednesday when it won only 54 parliamentary seats. In 2013, Umno won 88 federal seats. – May 11, 2018.
