PAKATAN Harapan Malacca chief Adly Zahari has been sworn in as the 11th chief minister of the state.

He took his oath of office today before the Yang-diPertua Negeri Mohd Khalil Yaacob.

The 47-year-old won the Bukit Katil state seat with a majority of 3,159 votes, and has been with Parti Amanah Negara since 2015.

The PH coalition, comprising PKR, DAP, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) and Amanah, won 15 of 28 state seats in the general election.

The remaining 13 seats were won by Barisan Nasional. – May 11, 2018.
