THE Pakatan Harapan government is trimming the fat in cabinet and will name only 10 ministers first, as it gets on with the business of governing,

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the respective parties have up to today to finalise their ministers.

“For the moment, we will form a small cabinet of important ministers. Not a full cabinet,” he said at a press conference today.

The 10 ministries are finance; home affairs; defence; education; rural development; economy; public works; transport; multimedia, science and technology; and foreign affairs. – May 11, 2018.
