TONY Fernandes, owner of low-cost airline AirAsia, was roasted in a parody The Song of Tony for endorsing caretaker prime minister Najib Razak at GE14 recently.

The 4.45-minute clip produced by Allen Perera of Comedy Court poked fun at Fernandes’ ill-timed support of Najib and the Barisan Nasional’s defeat in the elections yesterday.

The Song of Tony, to the tune of the Simon & Garfunkel’s mega-hit The Sound of Silence, said Fernandes should have “just remained silent”. – May 10, 2018.
