UMNO Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said Barisan Nasional will accept and respect the will of the people.

Khairy, who was speaking after visiting caretaker prime minister Najib Razak at home in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, did not say what the “will of the people” was. 

He told the media to await the BN chairman’s statement at a press conference to take place in 11 hours.

“Obviously we will accept the will of the people but the prime minister will issue a statement. Tomorrow we will hold a press conference.

“In any case, we should respect the will of the people and we will make sure the election results are respected,” he said, at nearly 2am.

The press had staked out the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in the hope of catching Najib who failed to show. – May 10, 2018.
