PAKATAN Harapan won 29 state seats in Perak, one seat short of a simple majority in a 59-seat state assembly based on official results.
Barisan Nasional won 27 seats while PAS took three seats.
The coalition which PAS chooses to work with will have a simple majority to form the Perak state government.
In one of the closest fights in Perak, the elections saw Perak Bersatu chief Ahmad Faizal Azumu winning the Chenderiang seat by 39 votes, while Umno retained Changkat Jong by 67 votes and took Selinsing from PAS by 97 votes.
Caretaker menteri besar Zambry Abd Nadir retained Pangkor by 1,626 votes. – May 10, 2018.
