Amanah chalks up impressive wins in debut outing

THE Amanah top leadership have won their respective seats, except for vice-president Husam Musa, who has lost in Kota Baru.

Up to 12.30am, Amanah has secured 10 of the 27 seats it had contested in the 14th general election.

It president Mohamad Sabu won the Kota Raja seat in Selangor while his deputy Salahudin Ayub took out deputy home minister Nur Jazlan in Pulai, Johor.

Its two vice-presidents Mujahid Yusof Rawa retained Parit Buntar while Hasanudin Yunos won in Hulu Langat.

Party secretary-general Mohd Anuar Tahir took the Temerloh while communication director Khalid Samad retained Shah Alam.

Its strategic director Dzulkefly Ahmad made a comeback in Kuala Selangor and legal head Hanipa Maidin won in Sepang. – May 10, 2018.
