PAKATAN Harapan has secured 27 seats in the 59-seat Perak state assembly, three seats short of forming a simple majority government, based on an unofficial tally.
Barisan Nasional has won four seats based on official results – Bota (1,822 votes), Belanja (2,729), Rungkup (3,069) and Hutan Melintang (741).
Caretaker menteri besar Zambry Abd Kadir is leading in Pangkor, based on an unofficial tally reported by Perak Today.
PAS has successfully defended two seats based on unofficial results – Gunung Semanggol and Selinsing – and has taken Selama from Umno.
