MIC president and health minister Dr S. Subramaniam has lost the Segamat seat to PKR’s Dr R Santhara Kumar, according to unofficial results from national news agency Bernama.
Dr Subramaniam, who has held the parliamentary seat for four terms, would be Barisan Nasional’s first big casualty in the battle for Johor.
In the last elections, Dr Subramaniam beat PKR’s Chua Jui Meng by 1,217 votes. – May 9, 2018.
