BARISAN Nasional retained the Tanjong Manis parliamentary seat in Sarawak after a PBB newcomer won by 8,674 votes.
Yusuf Abdul Wahab (BN) polled 11,402 votes against Fadillah Sabri’s (Amanah) 2,728.
The two-term incumbent Norah Abdul Rahman, daughter of former Sarawak governor Abdul Rahman Yaakub, declined to defend the seat. – May 9, 2018.
