CARETAKER prime minister Najib Razak tonight announced an income tax exemption for those below 26 years old.

“To all the young people, 26 years old and below, if BN is given the mandate tomorrow, we will give you full income tax exemption starting from 2017.”

He was giving his final message before the campaign period for the 14th general election ends at midnight. The special live telecast was broadcast on all major local TV channels.

There are an estimated six million youth voters in GE14.
