PERAK FC head coach Yusri Che Lah today said he was unaware of speculation surrounding the potential transfer of Terengganu FC midfielder Muhammad Faiz Mohd Nasir to strengthen Perak FC in the Malaysian League (M-League) campaign.

Yusri said there have been no discussions with the 31-year-old former national player, who was dubbed Pasir Mas’ “Messi”.

“It’s only a rumour, and if you want to know more about the situation, you can ask the management because it falls under their jurisdiction,” he told Bernama when contacted.

There was speculation on social media linking Faiz, who played on loan at Kelantan United FC this season, with a move to Perak.

Faiz has extensive experience in the local football scene, having played for clubs such as Penang Water Supply Corporation Football Club, Felcra FC, Selangor FC and Terengganu FC.
