Rafidah gives BN an 'F' for failing the people

FORMER trade and industries minister Rafidah Aziz said would grade the Barisan Nasional government an “F” for its performance over the past five years.

She said at a Pakatan Harapan ceramah in Hulu Kelang tonight that this was the reason that Malaysians would vote BN out.

“If you ask me, I would give it an ‘F’ for its report card. If you get an F, your term should not continue,” Rafidah said, drawing cheers from the 5,000-strong crowd.

The former Umno Supreme Council member added that the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal had also soiled the country’s name internationally.

“This story (1MDB), if it’s made into a movie, would span three sequels. The movie would be a bestseller but it wouldn’t be shown on television here,” Rafidah said.

Rafidah and former finance minister Daim Zainuddin are supporting PH candidates at tonight’s ceramah.

Rafidah has appeared in several PH events, including in Malacca and yesterday in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, where she championed Segambut candidate Hannah Yeoh. – May 6, 2018.
