DESPITE the downpour in Hulu Kelang, Pakatan Harapan supporters turned up in droves for the coalition’s final ceramah in the Klang Valley.
A crowd began filling Padang Bola Sepak Au2 in Taman Keramat from 7.30pm, waiting to catch a glimpse of the opposition pact’s top guns Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Azmin Ali.
“I want to listen to Dr Mahathir’s speech. My life was more comfortable back when he was in charge, but the situation has changed,” Farah Abu Bakar, 40, from Bukit Anatarabangsa, told Malaysia Decides.
“I want to experience change,” she said.
The ceramah drew supporters from all over the Klang Valley.
“I want to give them my support and I want to see the leaders, especially Dr Mahathir and Wan Azizah,” Angie Ng, 56, from Kelana Jaya said.
“I want to listen to their manifesto because we all know about corruption in our country,” she said.
For research consultant Yaz from Gombak, the PH chairman inspired her to attend tonight’s ceramah.
“Dr Mahathir is my idol. I want to listen to their manifesto,” the 43-year-old said. – May 6, 2018.
