Rafidah hopes ceramah crowds translate into votes

The Malaysian Insight

UMNO veteran Rafidah Aziz hopes to see the results of big turnouts at Pakatan Harapan ceramah on polling day next Wednesday.

The former international trade and industry minister made her first appearance at a PH ceramah in Malacca last night, alongside former finance minister Daim Zainuddin.

Both had come out to campaign for the opposition coalition these elections.

Rafidah said in the last decade, Malaysia has been let down by its “contractors”, referring to the Barisan Nasional administration.

“There is a common feeling, common quest for PH members and sympathisers to have this change of the management of Malaysia,” she told Malaysia Decides after the ceramah last night.

She, however, declined to make predictions on the outcome of the elections.

She hoped to see the people effect the change they want to see by exercising their right to vote. – May 5, 2018.
